Vivekananda Sobha Yatra on 11.09.2019
In commemoration of concluding celebrations of 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Historical Chicago Addresses at Parliament of Religions, “Vivekananda Sobha Yatra”, a procession was organized in Sitanagaram village. A meeting was conducted in school auditorium from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. Swami Sashikantanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Vijayawada addressed the students and Bhajans on Swami Vivekananda were sung by school students in the meeting. The procession started with the blowing of conch shells at 3:30 pm. Nearly, 500 students and teachers of Ramakrishna Mission High School participated in this procession. Participants actively involved in the procession by preparing and displaying placards and repeating Swamiji’s quotes. Evening tiffin was served to all the participants.
