Inspirational Talk by Sri Sharad Vivek Sagar, Founder & CEO, Dexterity Global

A special event was organized in Ramakrishna Mission High School, Sitanagaram on Wednesday, the 20th March 2019 on the occasion of 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Historical Chicago Addresses. Sri Sharad Vivek Sagar, Founder & CEO, Dexterity Global was invited for the program. Sri Sharad delivered motivational speeches and spent the whole day in our School interacting with the students of our school and other schools in and around Vijayawada. This 26-year old highly inspiring and passionate entrepreneur enlightened the students on the purpose of education, spirit of service and leadership and the method of scaling up their abilities to become superior citizens and leaders of the country.
The students from VI to IX standards were more enthusiastic to ask questions. Similarly the X standard students who are in the Public examinations schedule also attended his motivational speech and mustered up confidence to face the examinations.
The special session in which the speaker addressed the teachers of our school also boosted the morale of staff members. The students and staff felt very happy for having such an opportunity of attending his motivational sessions. Altogether 670 students and 60 teachers attended the sessions.
Sri Sharad Vivek Sagar, as a school student, took part in many competitions and he even represented India in six different countries including Japan and became a celebrity in his schooldays. When he was just 16, he started a startup social enterprise, Dexterity Global. He was invited by the then US President, Barack Obama to the White House for a special event. He was the graduation speaker at Tufts University and while in college, he broke all previous records in entrepreneurship and leadership and social impact. Dexterity Global, Sharad’s social enterprise, impacts over 1.2 million children annually in India and other parts of South Asia. Dexterity Global is passionately working for empowering the school students and youth to become future leaders of the country. It is connecting students even in remote villages with information and opportunities, building their skill sets, equipping them with leadership and entrepreneurial skills and making college transitions effective.
